21st April 2024 – Allied Dancing Association Ltd

Come and join the Allied for an unforgettable afternoon of dancing on one of the largest dance floors in the North West. The Allied Dancing Association Ltd is proud to present their annual inventive dance competition, with all three competition sections, Ballroom, Latin and Classical in one day. In-between the competition rounds there will be social dancing with a varied programme suitable for everyone with guest MC’s Alan and Amanda Parker.

This year, the Allied are thrilled to announce that in addition to their existing rules or entry that allows two professionals to compete, they are now also allowing professional dancers to partner with non-qualified dancers in their inventive dance competitions. This is a fantastic opportunity for dancers to get involved with sequence dancing and learn the art of choreography. See Rules of Entry.

Brockbank Lane Script Services are kindly sponsoring the prize money of £100 per section for this event. In addition, they are delighted to have Watkins Dance Shoes in attendance, providing you with the opportunity to purchase high-quality dance shoes.

The Allied are also excited to invite you to a ‘Meet and Greet’ with the Allied Dancing Association Ltd sequence branch committee prior to the competition starting. Join them to chat about sequence dancing and share your thoughts and ideas on the future of the dance style.

Doors open:  11.30 am with dancing from 12 o’clock

Competition starts: 12.30 pm

Finish time : 5.30 pm

Admission: available to all

Ticket Information: Allied members – £5 on the production of current membership card. Spectators – £15 in advance and £16 each on the day. Competitors £10 each.
