Experience an extraordinary day filled with rhythm, music, and limitless dancing as the British Dance Council Sequence Advisory Committee invites you to attend their Inventive Dance Competition on Sunday 3 August 2025.

This event features a showcase of new dances competitions to find the best Ballroom, Latin and Classical Sequence dances.

In between the competitions, take the chance to exhibit your own dance skills and follow our MC’s, John and Ann Rainey, with a selection of popular sequence dance routines.

With refreshments made available throughout the day, you can mingle with fellow dancers.

This year, the BDC Sequence Advisory Committee are thrilled to announce that in addition to their existing rules or entry that allows two professionals to compete, they are now also allowing professional dancers to partner with non-qualified dancers in their inventive dance competitions. This is a fantastic opportunity for dancers to get involved with sequence dancing and learn the art of choreography.
